Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TapBook (the "Service"), operated by kodanix, based in Hungary. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

TapBook is a subscription-based software service for businesses. We may add, change or remove features over time as we improve the Service.

You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for the activity that takes place under your account and for keeping your access secure. You must provide accurate information and be authorised to act for the business you represent.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) through our payment provider, Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. We may change our prices and will give you reasonable notice before a change applies to your next renewal.

We may offer a free plan or trial with limited features. We may change or withdraw any free offering at any time.

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which it will not renew. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not refund partial periods.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by breaking the law, infringing the rights of others, sending spam, uploading malicious code, attempting to gain unauthorised access, scraping, or reverse-engineering the Service. We may suspend accounts that put the Service or other users at risk.

You keep ownership of the data you put into the Service (the services and availability you set up, the bookings you receive, and the names, contact details and notes of the customers who book with you). You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process that data in order to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for the data you collect through the Service and for having a lawful basis and any necessary consents from the people whose data you upload. You must use the Service honestly and not in a way that misleads consumers.

We and our licensors own the Service, including its software, design and trademarks. These Terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.

The Service relies on third parties such as Google and Stripe. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or where necessary to protect the Service. On termination, the provisions that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, and the courts of Hungary have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you.
